Coffee Prices — What’s Next

Dear coffee friends,

as a small, quality-focused roastery, we’ve been striving to keep all aspects of our beans and their background transparent — especially in times of change.

Since the start of 2024, the price of Arabica coffee on the global stock exchange has increased by around 80%.

While that’s partly due to speculation, there are deeper shifts at play:

Global demand is rising, with new coffee markets like China expanding rapidly. However, at the same time, climate change is impacting harvests — especially in Brazil and Vietnam, two major producers. Unpredictable weather and lower yields are becoming the new norm.

All of this makes sourcing great green coffee more challenging and more expensive.

Despite doing everything we can to stay lean and efficient, we’ve now reached a point where we need to adjust our prices — as slightly as possible.

Starting this week, the following coffees will increase in price by just under 8%:

  • Pedal
  • Casual
  • Leal
  • Traditional
  • Legal

Even with this new rate, our margins will be tighter than ever — but we believe in sticking to our core values. Paying fair prices to producers, roasting fresh, and delivering top-quality coffee to you will always come first.

Thank you for sticking with us. Your support truly makes our mission possible.
